Just been looking at results for Crufts out of curiousity [was not shown on TV this year] and the Best in Show was a Sealyham Terrier. The Best of Breed for Cairn was AM CH ZALAZAR WALK THE LINE. The photo shows a very handsome dog.

What a time Walker is having - he was best of breed at the World Show last July, at the CTCA National Specialty in October, and now Crufts. That's a mighty impressive sweep.

I am so sorry they did not show the events on TV this year. I know the BBC had a row with Kennel Club about inbreeding and the standards etc after a TV programme the BBC aired last year about pedigree dogs, but even before I had a dog, I like many other people loved watching the dogs in the ring, then things like agilility, flyball and the dancing. I know quite a few older folk at Church who used to have dogs were saying yesterday how much they missed the television showing. I would have loved to watch the Cairns in particular because they used to do a whole show on Terriers. Oh well, perhaps another channel will pick it up next year but if is Sky then I will still not see it. Link to photo

Oh thanks Bradl - have now seen that [with a barked accompaniment from Holly!] - he is a lovely dog [but still prefer the colouring of Holly!]
