If I have a dog in my car and I'm not sure how they'll react, I usually try to position the crates so that dog's crate can look out a window. For a long time I took the back seat out of my small SUV and would stack crates (with the use of a lot of bungees so they're very secure). I just get uneasy having a dog in a harness/seatbelt for a long period of time because of the risk of accidents.

I've had Kipper since February
Does anyone have any other ideas? Will this pass eventually? If so, WHEN?
Kipper is about a year and a half. Hopefully he will outgrow this a bit.

Umhmm, try Bonine, good for 24 hrs, no 'sleepy' to it, for motion sickness. Any drug store, right next to the Dramamine--same main ingreds as Dramamine, but w/o the sleepy component. You can also combine the ginger snaps with that
I believe what you are getting from the vet is: Cerenia Tablets Indications
CERENIA (maropitant citrate) Tablets are indicated for the prevention of acute vomiting and the prevention of vomiting due to motion sickness in dogs.
