Hello all!
I am looking for some tips on grooming the rear. My dog's rear is looking blousy and needs to be taken down some. What should I be looking for and what is the best way to groom? What a sensitive area to work in! I'm tempted to just break out the thinning shears!
Thanks!
Liz

Is your dog being shown? If not, I do use thinning shears to make short work of the butt.
Otherwise, go slow, go slow, go slow. And keep sessions on the tender areas very short. You can move to another area and come back (again and again, as necessary).
