Hello All, Like Greg I tried the IABCA shows. Paint received her International Puppy Title getting the rating she needed from 4 different judges. I ring stewarded so I missed getting her back for two of the group competitions but on the two she entered she won the group for best breed by pup and best pup which was neat. Yesterday she won Best Breed By Puppy in Show and got Reserve Best Puppy in Show. The day before she got Reserve Best Puppy in Show and I didn’t realize I should have stayed and left before they judged the BIS Puppy that day. I am still learning how they do the judging.

For all you Cairn History people, one of the judges was a neighbor of Betty Hyslop. His back yard butted up to hers. The judges really talk to you so he told me some stories; he also said the face on Paint reminded him so much of Betty’s dogs. How wonderful to talk to him!

I really do like the written critiques and the fact when they judge BIS they have multiple judges.

Wow, so young and she's already practically royalty! Congratulations.
(And she is, of course, gorgeous.) :)

Congratulations, Liz & Paint! Sounds like Paint's show career is off to a great start. You are both winners in my book, keep up the good work!

So in the international ring, did she earn any points toward her Champion title? I know that i've been told in the US it's just an honor and no points are awarded... just wondering if it's the same Internationally.

Isn't she a Cutie-Pie.... my how did you get her now to Chew those ribbons at her feet?
