Fergus McFlynn won Best in Show this past weekend in Longview, Texas. I understand that it has been 3 years since a Cairn has done so. It was great to see!

Texas must love Cairns - it was in Texas a few years ago that Kinloch's Royal Troon (Oliver) went BIS there! Go Texas!

Speaking of Oliver, we had the old boy over the weekend in the Kirkland to Portland ferry (our motorhome). He's fit and still looks as spectacular as ever.

Greg: thanks for the update on Oliver. I had the pleasure of meeting him, and Vicki, at Westminster in 2005 when Oliver won the breed. He is a handsome devil and really well built. I often wondered how he was doing in his retirement. Glad to hear all is well!

The judge sequence was Terry Stacy for Breed; Jay Richardson for Group, and Jon Cole for BIS
