Dear Linda,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your sweet Gracie. I know how much you cherished her. It is so very difficult to lose them, and it does seem so unfair especially given you have lost two of your family in as many years.
I hope the presence of your little Will can give you some comfort over the coming days, weeks and months. I only wish I could find the words to ease your sorrow. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Barbara

We would like to add our condolences for your loss of Gracie. All of us who have lost a cherished pet know the heartbreak you are experiencing. I know that in the years ahead there will be times when Will does something, and you will say it's something that Gracie taught him, or it's just what Gracie would have done. In this way Gracie will always be with you, through Will. God Bless all of you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I also lost my Sandy this past February. I still miss him. This site has been so helpful for me. Just remember all the good times you had with Gracie, and have faith that she is still walking beside you and watching over you.

I'm sorry I'm late posting to you. I am so sorry to hear about Gracie. It's never easy losing a member of your family. There really are no words I can give you to ease your pain that I know all too well. Just know that Gracie's paw print is forever on your heart. After I lost my Lab, I came across this poem that made me think of him. It's been a few years now and I still feel his presence.

"We have a secret, you and I that no one else shall know.
For who but I can see you lie each night in fire glow?
And who but I can reach my hand before we go to bed
and feel the living warmth of you and touch your silken head?
And only I walk woodland paths and see ahead of me,
your form racing with the wind so young again and free.
And only I can see you swim in every brook I pass
and when I call, no one but I can see the bending grass."

I'm so very sorry getting to this late. Please know my heart breaks for you. Losing a pet, no words can help ease your pain. I lost my Missy over 2 years ago and thew pain is still there. I try to remember the good and know that one da we will all be together forever. Gracie's picture brought tears to my eyes. What a beautiful soul, filled with such love and devotion.

My deepest condolences.
God speed Gracie

Hugs to you and Will for Gracie's passing. I believe she will be waiting at the bridge to walk with you two again. Can you picture Will jumping and wagging his tail at the sight...you of course will be crying tears of joy as you see your Gracie again. My heart goes out to you... Gracie = :halo:
