How do you stop dogs from eating mulch.

I would love any advice on how to keep my two from eating
mulch. The beds are all new to the babies and I hope the eating
is a phase, but I would love to be able to correct this behavior.
Any magic tricks??????
I made sure it was not cocoa mulch, I know that is really bad, but I
am sure any mulch is bad to eat. Madison really chops in...argh!!!

in the netting Just kidding, I would never do that.....just
think it! The only issue is the mulch goes all the way around
Is there any health issues with it or is it just a pain?

in the backyard. I read somewhere online that if you have chew treats out in the
yard they won't eat the mulch. So, ok....two chew treats later....I have two stationary
dogs. No running, no chasing, no playing just chewing on the sticks. This is great regarding the mulch, but now they are being bumps on a log. I think it is so funny!
I guess I will let them get the chewing out of their system for awhile and then try and
take the sticks away. Maybe then they will play. I have to remind myself to give them
time to adjust. It is so funny, I always expect them to "be" the way I think they should be. We will continue to work on the mulch experiment.
I love these doggies!
