We are a family that has recently lost our Dog of 10 years. We had friends that had a Cairn Terrier and we fell in love with it. We were thinking of a puppy or younger female to adopt. This would be a pet only - we will not be into showing or breeding so our main concern would be personality and if we are a good fit for a Cairn.

Just a tip so folks know, if you are registered yourself, you can send email to anyone else who is registered by clicking on the little blue E-Mail icon under their post. If they accept PMs (personal messages) you can also send a PM by clicking on the PM icon.

Leslie - Congratulations to you and your family on your new Cairn. Glad to hear that you found a puppy and it is working out for you. My husband and I will be picking up our baby tomorrow - can't wait! Good luck to you - and as the other person posted above -

Merry Cairnmas!
