Great Western Terrier Association and Long Beach Kennel Club are pleased to announce that on the weekend of June 24-27, the Kennel Club of Beverly Hills will be joining the events at the George Allen Field, California State University at Long Beach on Monday, June 27. The Great Western Terrier earthdog trials are also being held on Monday and Tuesday, June 27 and 28.
Once again, the CTCSC is pleased to host the national Cairn Terrier Club of America roving specialty where our theme, "The Cairn King" welcomes all exhibitors to participate in our "circle of life" events at California State University at Long Beach (CSULB). The dates of the events and conformation judges are listed below.
Beginning Thursday, Great Western Terrier Association will once again conduct its all-terrier futurity on Thursday, June 23. Information and entry blanks are available on Great Western's website at www.gwta.net. Beginning Friday, June 24, the CTCSC's specialty and sweepstakes promises a wild safari as a beginning to the festive 4-day weekend of dog shows - two specialties (CTCSC and CTCA) and two all-breed kennel club shows (Long Beach Kennel Club and the Kennel Club of Beverly Hills). GWTA, LBKC and KCBH all offer obedience classes on the 4-days of events at the same location. Plans for all-breed agility are underway but not yet confirmed and may be held at El Dorado Park, a 5-minute drive from CSULB.
Great Western Terrier Association is very pleased to have the support of the CTCA at the Great Western Terrier Association's earth dog trial at Canyon R. V. Park, Anaheim, CA on Monday and Tuesday, June 27 and 28.
After the GWTA futurity on Thursday, June 23, please remember to join us for our safari camp out at the Cairn motorhome area on Thursday night at 6 PM for a complimentary dinner feast, compliments of the CTCSC.

The Cairn Terrier Club of So. California will host its judges dinner and annual costume contest on Friday evening following the Terrier Group. Our Safari fare will include breakfast both Friday & Saturday, lunch and dinner on Friday at a nominal cost of $35.00 per person. Reservations are required and the deadline will be June 11.
Motorhome parking will be available. Information on reservations will be forthcoming in the specialty booklet which will be sent to all CTCA members.
This year the CTCSC will again offer both a beautiful Cairn afghan and tote bag entitled "Proud Mother." This afghan depicts a Cairn Dam and her two pups in a basket ... a MUST HAVE item! Afghan - $79 each
