Happy New Year and thanks to the members of this forum who helped us get through Ricky's first 10 months of puppyhood! Special thanks to PK and Idaho Cairns- your encouragement gave us hope and your advice was practical and gave results! The btiting, disobedience, and dominance issues and separation issues are under control and constantly improving and Ricky is turning into a happy member of our household. No amount of reading books or even working with trainers replaced the common sense and knowledge we found here!

Wow, what a portrait Ricky has made! Look at those eyes--you can see all that innate Cairn intelligence in them. Glad you have moved past all those "lessons" that a Cairn pup has to learn and are into the joy of having one of these little wonder dogs in your home. Neat!

wonderful work! of course, ten months would be a pretty rapid clip to really get through all the challenges of raising a cairn. be ready for anything. but you are clearly on the right track, enjoy!

That is for sure. The people on this site are the best, expecially Idaho and PK.
