I just looked up this Fish4Dogs and alot of them are out of stock. Hmmm. This sounds like something we would be interested in. When I visit a dog store I will have to see if they carry them.

Yay! Glad to hear all is well with the mighty farmer dog! Divot LOVES getting his teeth brushed! I bet Demps will like it, too!

Glad to hear Dempsy passed his physical with flying colors!

Gauze is a great idea because it is disposable. With Murphy, I started with an inexpensive nubby wash cloth that I wrapped around my finger after putting chicken toothpaste on it. Once he became comfortable with that, he graduated to a child's very soft bristled toothbrush. He is much more relaxed during toothbrushing than my Lab is.

Get two dogs, don't groom them, when they snargle every night they effectively floss each other nicely. Pay the vet to get the back ones clean. Just kidding. I have a battery powered toothbrush just like my daughter's, one for each dog that I use. It is hard to get those back ones though. When Cassie was in for her surgery the vet cleaned hers up while she was under. It is mainly those rear teeth on the inside where he could get that I could not.

Ya'll are brave souls! I opened Murphy's mouth a few times, and there are A LOT of REALLY sharp teeth in there. When he comes running, all you see are teeth!

I had this picture of him on an old cell phone. My co-worker commented that he looked like he had big dentures in...LOL
