I have always owned labrador retrievers. I would like to switch to a smaller dog, but still a "big dog". Does anyone have experience with a breeder in this area. Thank you.

Cairns are indeed a dog I like to think of as "portable" more than small in any way!
Here's a listing of CTCA members listed by the CTCA breeder referral as being within 250 miles of Trenton, NJ. Hope that helps a little.
The list is thick with excellent breeders in that area. Obviously folks with specific recommendations will have to contact you by PM or email. Good luck!
