WOOF! Eli, here.

So we have like 24 inches of the stupid stuff. I am used to being King of the Yard, running all over the place. The Alpha B had the driveway plowed but forgot to get the yard plowed for ME. It's a big driveway but it is not the same as the yard. There's HUGE mountains of snow all around the driveway. I missed my freedom so I decided to climb the mountain. I managed to get to the side of the house where it wasn't so deep and made my way to the front, where we have a wraparound porch and deck that goes all the way around the rest of the house. I was pretty happy to get under the deck. I hang out there a lot. It's where I killed that stupid possum. But I digress. I was happy until I realized I did not know how to get out. Oh, my! I had to use my most pathetic distress bark and whine! It took the stupid Alpha B forever to come out! She had to shovel the deck and the steps and part of the patio so I could get out. She wasn't happy but I was traumatized! I thought she was gonna leave me out there til SPRING!

Anyway, I am back in the house, safe and warm. I'm not sure I'm gonna try that again. We'll see............

Woof!
Eli

Ruff-ruff! Buffy here! You don't like snow? I LOVE the snow! We've got about 2 feet here, too, and I'm having a great time in it. Too bad about getting stuck under the deck . . . although that sounds like a great place to catch critters. I made my uprights shovel a nice maze in the snow for me so I can chase my brother through it. I don't always stick to the path, though, and then I get yelled at for dragging snow through the house. (Who wants to stop to get toweled down?)

Uprights just don't get it, do they?

YAP!

Eli, DUDE! Long time!

You gotta steal that computer from the Alpha B and check in with us dawgs more often! My alpha B is too busy with that "job" thing to check up here too often these days, so I understand, but we need out fearless CUR leader around here to guide the many new pups in bringing a little insanity to their uprights.

We've had 2 feet of snow or more for like, forever. I dunno how long but, we left before the holiday with the wrapping paper to rip apart and when we got back the grass was gone and it hasn't come back yet. But the coolest thing happened to MY snow this weekend. The uprights said the sky was pooping. Whatever kind of poop that was, it certainly did NOT smell as good as cat or goose poop, I think they said it was snowing, sleeting and raining all at once. Don't know what that means except that its awesome and I want it to happen every day! When I went out to potty, I discovered the 2 feet of snow was covered in a slick layer of ice! now I can walk on it ANYWHERE I want but the dumb uprights can't seem to master the skill - they just fall right through! I went out on my line and got wrapped around a post the other night and my upright didn't want to come get me, either. I let them know with all my pathetic might that I was hopelessly stuck as the ridiculous uprights kept telling me to come. But then they shook my box of treats and I suddenly remembered that I know how to unwrap my leash from a pole! DUH, it just took proper motivation, right? Maybe your uprights don't have the best treats to convince you to un-stuck yourself?

Tonight when I went out for my walk, I had to inspect every driveway on the street. It got really cold today and some of them are covered in an awesome ice slick and I just have to test each one out to see how it feels to roll on. The windchill is -10F, but I got a nice double coat, so a-ice-rolling I go! The uprights don't see the fun in that game either...sheesh!

CUR forever!
Currey
