You may notice a new tab at the top of the forum: Chat.

For the present time the chat service is available 24/7 (presuming the server is up and running) with a limit of 20 persons in the room at a time. It's also presently set up to display if and how many are in there - you will see a (1) or (2) or (some number) after the label, indicating the number of folks in Chat. If there is no number, it's empty. I believe the span of time represented is within the last five minutes.

I'm not much of a chat user myself, but I know it can be both useful and fun for many. Feel free to try it out if you are so inclined.
