Since Zekey's a mix, his are a medium brown. I've read that the breed standard is hazel. How about your pooch?

Both my boys have beautiful, chocolate brown eyes. Very expressive!

Dempsy's are deep dark chocolate, almost black.

Bratt has hazel eyes. His eyes were blue for the longest time when he was a puppy... Mett had dark brown eyes, Metts eyes turned brown way before Bratts.

Ditto my two. Bonnie's in the right light are a bit lighter--almost a medium brown but mostly their eyes are just little inkwells.

I always loved Tuky's eye color. I thought they looked like a beautiful milk chocolate color. Always so warm and sweet.

Scruffy has eyes like dark chocolate too. They melt your heart, even when he's stripping the wallpaper off downstairs while I am upstairs decorating the bedroom.

If hazel eyes are the breed standard then that's the ONLY way Buffy fits the standard.

Missy definitely has black eyes. I looked and looked and looked thinking that she'd have dark brown eyes, but they are just black. :-D

angel's are dark brown and scotty eyes are like very dark brown nearly black...If i took a photo of him they would just look black
