Forum rules have been edited to make it clear that fund-raising is - as it always has been - prohibited under the general category of advertising.

The only exceptions are for advertising and fund-raising projects of the host club, the Cairn Terrier Club of America, or its affiliated clubs.

There are many worthy causes - some of them directly affecting Cairn Terriers - therefore this advertising prohibition is in no way an assessment of the validity or worth of any particular project, past, present, or future. Such activities simply fall outside the scope of activity for which the forum is maintained.
