Hi,
I joined just last week, and answered a question in the Cairn Puppy Forum. I have a couple of questions that I can't find anywhere on the site. First, is there a specific forum to introduce myself or is that just done on my "homepage". Also, how do I join the other forums? This seems like a great place! I'll fill out my page now, and hopefully someone will repond and help me out. Thanks! Also, I see below there is place that asks if you want email notification of replys. I do-but there is no box next to it to check. Thanks again! Kimmons

(I hope I'm not stepping on any toes here. Not sure if only Bradl is supposed to reply to this forum. If so, I apologize.)

Under "Cairn Life" there is a topic, "Getting to know you" where you can introduce yourself.

You don't have to "join" the other forums, just read and post to whatever you like!

I'm not sure about the email notification question. I know I didn't chose that option when I joined.

You're right, this IS a great place! Looking forward to reading your posts.

For sure anyone can post in here - with questions or help! The nice thing is that once a question is asked and answered, it will help others in the future. That's why I actually prefer questions go here rather than by PM (unless of course, it really is personal or private).

You can "watch" or subscribe to any topic by clicking the   Watch this topic button above the topic and replies. I see a checkbox next to Enable email notification of replies? in this post box while I'm typing, so I'm not sure why you wouldn't. I'll poke around and see if there's a setting somewhere that might prevent it from showing for you...

Hi Rainysriver,

Here is the "Getting to know you" page when you can introduce yourself. (I hope I linked it correctly.) Sometimes it is a bit slow here on the weekend, except for when everyone was snowed in!

Hi Kimmons,
just to clear up a mystery, your earlier posts were in the Behavior & Health Forum in the Pig Ears discussion.
You should be able to post in any of the forums that are open to Cairn Talk members (some are admin. only) without further registration.
