I just couldn't help posting this picture. Dale was sitting at the table eating a late dinner the other night and Gus was being EVER so patient and looking SO angelic, I couldn't help but crack up. :innocent:

He knows now that after we eat, if there is lick-able stuff on the plate, he'll get it. Spoiled???? Nah!

Haha Cute! That is the way Molly stares at her Daddy all the time, like she is in love with him. She never stares at ME like that! Oh no.. I just feed her, give her meds, make her vet appointments, give her treats, wash all her bed linens, buy her toys, etc.

That is the way Holly sits and stares at me when I am eating at the table.................. I call it being "ever optimistic"!
But because she is ever optimistic she usually gets something at end of meal................. :surrender: she is another one that is not spoiled [much!]

I've got a photo of T Bone is almost exactly the same pose, but he's waiting for a squirrel to land on the bird feeder. I'll try to find it and post it. These dogs certainly are intense!

On, and by the way -- don't drop that lickable plate on the floor for your pup when you have company over...

We did that once, and you should have seen the look on our guests' faces! Really, we do use the dishwasher afterwards.....but the look they gave us said they didn't necessarily believe us...

That could be my Kenna in that picture! I made the mistake of giving her a tiny piece of food ONCE and transformed her into an instant begger. She usually starts by politely staring at me and then through the meal progressess to the oh-so-cute paws on the leg with head tilted to the side. I haven't caved yet (mostly because I don't want to listen to hubby) but she really is "ever optimistic."

Buffy is a daddy's girl, too. She always begs from HIS side of the table, sits with him on HIS chair, etc.. And he's the only one who gets her best gosh-I'm-such-a-sweet-adorable-dog-and-I've-never-done-anything-wrong-in-my-life look.

I just get the hey-mom-take-me-out! look. <_<

I've gotta tell you.....Daddy feels like burnt toast around here most days because Gus doesn't get nearly as excited when he comes home as he does when I get home. He knows it's because I'm home all day with him and at this point he's surgically attached to my hip! Drives him nuts tho that he can't get Gus to come and sit in his lap with him in his 'office' or go for walks unless mom comes along. We've taken to making him do it though because he needs to know mom's not the only one who can care for him and show him some fun.

Know that you're loved... she's just Daddy's girl!

Yeah, I still live with my parents, I had to do something so my dad walked Miley. She looked at him like " What do you think you are doing", but she also loves guys, so whoever my future husband is will be lucky :)
