We give ours sweet potato treats made in the USA, specifically made in Estacada, OR. Brand name: Snook's Sweet Potato Dog Chips. The dogs LOVE them. They come on a rope or in packages. They come in chews or chips. AND they don't stink or upset our pups' delicate stomachs! Here is the company's website: http://www.snookdog.com/

And I was just thinking that sounded like an advertisement, which was not what I intended. I just wanted to share a product we found and like. It took us a while to find treats we could actually give to our dogs. Kimmy and Benny have tummy troubles if they eat certain things.

I was thinking of trying the dogswell sweet potato treats, but then I read they are made in China. Not happy to hear that, why would they make their food in US and treats in China? to bad. I stay away from things made in China

Oh no!! Thank you for posting that. Oliver loves these but if they are made in China I will no longer be buying them for him. Maybe I will learn to make my own now :)

Thanks!

I've been making my own for a couple months now. Molly loves them. They are so easy to make and much cheaper as well. :)

Wow, I'm so disappointed. I purchased Dogswell Breathies Chicken Breast Treats for Murphy to help maintain her newly polished and clean teeth. They're made in China?!?!? She had one so far and loved it but I won't take a chance and I'm tossing them out. I also try to stay away from products made in China.

Anyone know of any jerky like treats that are pure and natural and made in the good ole' USA? I'm looking for treats she can gnaw on for a while to help control tartar and plaque.

Here's 2 US-made treats suppliers:
http://www.usbones.com/

And a Canadian one I use:

Increasingly I look at cat treats as well, they're such picky carnivores, finding 100% pure is a little easier. They're usually smaller treats-- convenience-sized, I call them.

My dogs also love "Canine Carryouts" in either the beef flavor, or the new bacon bits. A word to the wise: The 7 ounce packages are really expensive, you do much better by buying the 12 ounce. I also feed them Pedigree maro-snacks which take quite awhile to eat. All of the above are USA made. I THINK the fake pigs ears are USA made too but I'm not positive. Does anyone know?

We have also given Oliver a dental bone by Zuke's. It is made from all natural ingredients without any wheat or corn and made in the USA. He seems to love them and we just yesterday found out that they have treats as well and they are winners too!! The "bone" takes him about 30-40 minutes to chew and he loves it! I also love that they are all natural because all the chemicals in food/treats tend to make me nervous. We actually call it his "psycho bone" b/c he is crazy for them.
