The CRCTC is proud to be hosting the 2010 national roving specialty. To help the "little club that could" put on a show that Cairn Terrier lovers around the country would enjoy attending, we're trying a number of small fund-raising ideas, one of which is a tasteful 1.5 inch white button featuring our event logo, designed by none other than Molly Poole!

$2.00 plus .50 shipping.
Overseas orders - actual postage.

For more information about the specialty, see www.crctc.org/roving.

Calling all obedience Cairns! Come to Portland this July! CRCTC will be offering Cairn-only obedience on Friday the 23rd July. In addition to the usual Novice, Open, and Utility we'll be offering the following non-regular classes: Pre-Novice, Graduate Novice, Graduate Open, and Brace.

On Saturday 24th July, Portland Dog Obedience normally offers Obedience (and probably Rally) - their event is not yet through the AKC approval process.

On Sunday 25th July, PKC will be offering all-breed obedience (also including Graduate Novice, Graduate Open, plus Versatility) and Rally.

Calling all Cairns! If you haven't yet tried Earthdog, now's your chance to give Introduction to Quarry a try at a Cairn-only earthdog test on Monday 26th July. If you are on the hunt for an earthdog title, there will be two tests: a cairn-only test in the morning and an all-eligible-breed test in the afternoon. The conformation shows will be over, so join us in heading out to nearby Beavercreek to get down and dirty - your dog will love you for it.

I hope to see both new and "experienced" earthdoggers on Monday! This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce your Cairn terrier to the world of earthdog!

Call me blind.... Do you know if the buttons are still available, and is there a price break on the shipping at a certain number?

Good news, you're not going blind. I diverted the balance of inventory to put in exhibitor gift bags, but I can probably muster a few for fund-raising. How many do you want? I can probably find a few spare in my office. Shipping is just 50 cents, regardless.

Sure. If I don't have them to hand, I'll see the person with the bag 'o buttons on Sunday, so can have them in the mail to you next Monday, latest. PayPal button is best - goes straight to the club. Thanks!

Sure. The post office returned a couple that I sent in ordinary letter envelopes, so now I use a padded "CD" style envelope. Postage to Oz appears to be $2.08 USD.

Or, book your flight and attend the show :P
