Finn has discovered squirrels and chipmunks and that there is an endless supply of them out the floor to ceiling sunroom windows. oh boy...

Finn is a fairly quiet hunter. He also has been hunting bugs and maple tree propellors. He's pretty obsessive about the bugs, especially butterflies. Those he is pretty quiet about, but when a chipmunk came up about 3 feet from him he made quite a racket!

Sent Dundee to a show up North with his breeder. Received call that Dundee earned his final point and is now CH Kinloch's Intentional Walk at Robinsend CA.

We've had two nights of very loud thunderstorms, which terrifies Allie so much she shakes and infuriates T Bone, so he barks constantly. No sleep for us!

Put on the collar and leash, and tie to your waist or wrist. Don't make a fuss, just sit or lie down. It worked great with Jock who used to go nuts hearing thunder. Found that tip on the Internet and it works like a charm. I have even fallen asleep with jock tethered to my wrist.

Reminder to all to watch what the pups pick up and eat! Yesterday a friend's dog had emergency surgery for a blockage; turned out to be her daughter's bracelet and 3 bread ties!

I have always been obsessed with the Titanic and Cairns. I watch and read everything I can get my hands on about either of the two subjects. glad to know I am not the only one.

That's a great toy, when the dogs get tired of ferreting out the treats, they can abuse the squirrels.

Ivy had her first close encounter with 2 canadian geese today. They were just on the other side of the fence. She so badly wanted to get to them. No matter how crazy she acted, they stood still and looked at her.She would turn and look at me. I know she was asking to be let out so she could do some hunting.
